Professor Arnold Myers from the University of Edinburgh will give a presentation on the MIMO project to the 39th Annual Meeting of the America Musical Instrument Society on 27th May, 2010 at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.

MIMO dissemination event in Germany

This Friday, 21st of May, Dr. Frank Bär will give a short presentation
during the conference MAI 2010 (Museums and the Internet) at the Germanisches Nationalmuseum Nürnberg.

Our Web 2.0 initiative continues ...

Our project coordinator Norman Rodger from Edinburgh published another nice little clip on the MIMO project. It is available on youtube.com or you can watch it here on our site. See how the musical instruments of MIMO's Scottish collection are photographed. I think that this video nicely illustrates the logistical effort which is necessary to take a photograph. Hopefully, this effort is not visible when you see actual photograph.

MIMO in the Belgian media

Le Soir 1.4.2010During the MIMO meeting in Brussels in March we invited the media to a press conference. It resulted in a feature on the radio (musique 3) and an article in Le Soir! The online article is available here.
